Residential Projects: Residential Sub-Floors
Builder, Tim Cramer, was amazed at just how easy
LSB® was to install. The long spans and light weight
of the unique steel beam really made a difference
in the construction of the Pymble luxury home. The
added challenge of shallow ceiling depths and simple
connectivity convinced Tim that LSB was the right
choice for residential sub floor solutions.

Residential Projects: Residential Sub-Floors
All materials had to be walked in on this very steep
and limited access site and the demolition of unwanted
brickwork in the crawl space had to be kept to a
minimum. LSB® proved its superiority by allowing
longer spans over existing brickwork and by reducing
the number of footings required. Manoeuvrability and
termite resistance proved once again that LSB is the
right choice for residential sub floors.

Residential Projects: Residential Sub-Floors
Restricted access to this awkward and steep site proved
that LSB was the right choice for this Queensland home.
The long spanning joists were easily lifted into place by
two people, eliminating the need for an on site crane.
The shallow depth of LSB kept the floor structure to
only 200 mm, maximising the headroom space below
and minimising rock removal. Easy to use standard
connections meant that the job was completed on
time and within budget.
