| Residential Sub-floor
LiteSteel® beam is the ideal choice
for long spans, easy access and
thin flooring solutions.
Builder, Tim Cramer, was amazed at just how easy
LSB® was to install. The long spans and light weight
of the unique steel beam really made a difference
in the construction of the Pymble luxury home. The
added challenge of shallow ceiling depths and simple
connectivity convinced Tim that LSB was the right
choice for residential sub floor solutions.
Overall benefits of LSB
- Cost savings compared LVL timber alternative joists.
- Zero shrinkage, movement or warping.
- LSB enabled simple integration with traditional
- construction methods.
- LSB enabled ease of fabrication on-site reducing
- installation time.
‘A unique style of constructing a floor
with large spans and lengths. 11.7 m
lengths of continuous span joists were
surprisingly light and easy to install.
LSB’s compatibility with Hebel flooring
was a big bonus.’
Tim Cramer, Builder
‘With its ease of onsite fabrication
and installation LSB allowed this project
to progress faster. It will be a product
of choice for me in the future.’
