| LSB is easy to weld like other structural steel beams, if required, LSB can be welded using Manual Metal, Gas Metal or Flux Cored Arc Welding.
Tests have been conducted to confirm that welding through the protective aluminium-zinc alloy coating does not impair the quality and structural integrity of the weld, and does not produce toxic fumes causing a safety hazard. Standard welding personal protective equipment (PPE) is required under normal operating conditions. |
