AZ+™ is an aluminium and zinc alloy that provides a superior level of atmospheric corrosion protection than ordinary zinc coatings of the same mass. AZ+ takes corrosion protection against the formation of red rust to new levels, a significant advantage when you’re building in Australia’s harsh climatic environments.
The AZ+ alloy contains 55% aluminium and 45% zinc. The aluminium provides excellent barrier protection while the sacrificial protection of zinc helps prevent red rust formation on exposed surfaces if the alloy is breached during installation. As a protective coating, AZ+ goes the distance.
